This is a really nice place to stay, suprised by the size and easthetics of the rooms and the entire hostel. Commitment of the staff to give me a good experience. Recommendation (and reservation) in a very local restaurant. The breakfast is superb. Felt a bit of a pity i could not stay longer. Definitely recommended.

We had secure parking for our motorcycle and a lovely breakfast, the decor was a nice change from the usual sterile looking hotels in Spain and Portugal .

They try to do everything to please you and always with a smile. The breakfast has good variety and everything is fresh and it's replaced really quick and often. You can also do some special orders. We actually had some cake and asked if they could make us one to take home and they did. The rooms are big and the beds are super confortable. The view is beautiful and you can buy a picnic basket and go for a picnic at a beautiful place that they recommend. Overall I would really recommend, we loved it.

The Alva Valley Hotel sits on the confluence of Alvoco and Alva rivers, in the quaint Ponte das Três Entradas. It is 10 km from Oliveira do Hospital and 24 km from Piódão. Next level hotel - outstanding customer service and fantastic rooms. I was made very welcome and looked after as a solo cyclist, the staff could not do more. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had - so much so, I had all the early morning energy to complete my bike ride to the top of the mountain!

Lovely, cozy facilities and nice spacious room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved horse riding and excursion of the farm. Restaurant, incl. also breakfast was always a great experience with local farm made cheeses etc.
